Rick Arroyo age 73 passed away on June 23, 2025, in Salina, Kansas. He was born February 1952 to Edith and Manuel Arroyo. Rick lived a life with a passion for education and a love for his family.
Rick’s professional life was marked by his years at Rema Bakeware Manufacturing Company, and his valuable contribution as a substitute teacher within USD305. A man of faith, Rick was a long-time member of the Ray Avenue Baptist Church.
An avid reader, Rick also enjoyed fishing and art. These hobbies provided him with much joy and relaxation, and they were a significant part of who he was.
Rick is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Jacob; his siblings, Bill, Tony, Terri, Tammy, and Debbie; and his grandchildren, Liam and Katarina. He was preceded in death by his mother Edith, father Manuel, daughter Misty, and brother Mark.
Contributions in Rick’s memory can be made to a local animal shelter or Ray Avenue Baptist Church, reflecting his love for animals and his commitment to his faith community.
We will miss him dearly, and cherish his memory always.
