A teenager was involved in a two-vehicle crash on May 27, just after midnight.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 7200 block of W. State Street for the report of a two-vehicle crash.

Reportedly, a 16-year-old boy was heading westbound on State in a 2000 Chevy Camaro at a high rate of speed. A 2009 Ford F150 driven by a 44-year-old male, was turning west onto State from Hedville Road.

The investigation is ongoing for potential other charges, which could include Drag Racing.

The Sheriff's Office stated the teen hit top speeds of 90 - 95 mph in a 55 mph zone.
