Marion E. White, 79, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Greensburg, KS, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at his home in McPherson. He was a crude truck driver for NCRA and a truck driver for Boogaarts Grocery Stores.
Marion was born on June 10, 1941, in Beloit, KS, the son of Vernon Lee and Reva Faye (Robinson) White. He graduated from Beloit High School (Beloit, KS). On September 18, 1960, Marion was united in marriage to Deanna Dee Williams in Downs, KS.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 60 years, Deanna of the home; children, Tammy Davison (Tim) of McPherson, KS, Jeffery White (Tonya) of Great Bend, KS, and Alan White (Tami) of McPherson, KS; a brother, Gary White (Delores) of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Mike Davison, Ashley McAllister, Cody Davison (Sarah), Grant Fletcher, Natoshia Adams (Bryce), and Brittaneè White; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Brandon Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy.
A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Downs Cemetery, Downs, KS.
