
Ralph Leo Kimminau, 86, Beloit, Kansas, passed away at Mitchell County Health Center on August 13, 2025.
He was born on May 3, 1939 to William Joseph and Loretta Catherine (Weingardt) Kimminau in Edgewater, CO. He attended school in Lawrence, Nebraska. When he was old enough, he joined the US Army.
Ralph married Lorena Marie Flageolle on July 18, 1964 in Stratton, Colorado. This 60 year union brought four children; Scott, Teresa, Todd, and Leanne. He worked at the Dubuque Packing Plant, and later for the City of Mankato. Ralph was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, building things, fishing, a good poker game, and especially playing cards with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lorena Kimminau; children, Scott Kimminau (Kathy) of Arvada, Co, Teresa Bonfante (Todd) of Aurora, Co, Todd Kimminau (Roxanne) of Beloit, KS, and Leanne Eilert (Leo) of Beloit, KS; grandchildren, Kelsey Hankins (Kyle), Ciara Kimminau, Lexie Kimminau, Tanner Kimminau, Emma Bonfante, Abigail Bonfante, Elliot Kimminau, TeJay Kimminau, Garrett Kimminau (Sage), Lyddia Crawford (Devin), and Maggie Eilert; four great grandchildren; siblings, Ferdinand Kimminau (Vi), Albert Kimminau, Stanley Kimminau and Kenneth Kimminau; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine, siblings Victor Kimminau, Urban Kimminau, Patricia Flageolle, Julia Hyde, Susan Kimminau and David Kimminau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Church in Beloit, KS on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jarett Konrade officiating.
The rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. before the service. Memorials may be sent to Solomon
