SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 1 p.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Lexus driven by Cassie Elaine Riley, 41, Salina, was southbound on Interstate 135 ten miles south of Salina.
The Lexus approached a large CMV tire in the right lane. The driver was unable to move into an adjancent lane due to vehicle traffic. She swerved to the right. The car enter the west ditch and rolled into a a corn field.
EMS transported Riley to Saline Regional Health Center. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
