SALINA - Beloved husband and father, Shawn M. Forgue born October 15, 1970 passed away on August 15, 2021.
Shawn was an amazing person. A man who was always willing to lend a hand, Mr. Fix-It, Jack of All Trades. Hardworking, loyal, funny.
A rock for his family and friends, he was happiest when fishing, riding 4-wheelers, fixing things and hanging out with his family, especially his son. His laugh was infectious and always had jokes to bring a smile in even the darkest situations.
The world will not be as bright without him in it. Taken from us too soon, he will be greatly missed. With all our love, may he rest forever in paradise, until we meet again.
Proceeded in death by Hubert and Evangeline LaBarge, Larry and Jeanette Rosenleib, and his eldest son Jacob Forgue.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Forgue, son Zachary Forgue, mother and father Sharon and Michael Forgue, stepmother Donna Forgue.
Siblings Tammy White (Derek (Giovani), Joshua (Emmberlynn), Jaylynn White), Melissa Hauck (Blake, Connor, Jaxson) and Michael Forgue, Jr. (Candise, Wesly, Brantley), brother-in-law Steve White.
Brother-in-law Ricky Kelley (Leanne and family), sister-in-law Gloria Miller (Sam and family), Penny Snyder (and family)
Ste-daughters Jennifer Short (Shane, Malaki, Michaela, Mackenzie) and Jessica Edwards (Steve, Cameron, Bryson, Kaitlyn) along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life to be held at New Community Christian Church at 530 E. Cloud St. in Salina, Kansas on Saturday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow. All are welcome.
