UPDATE: Suspect connected to burglary at central Salina home arrested

Law enforcement locate and arrest the suspect connected to a burglary at a central Salina home.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on June 16, $25,000 worth of stolen tools were recovered from rural McPherson County. 

On June 18, at about 4:00 am, officers took Bryan McBride (34) of Salina into custody in reference the Burglary/Theft.

McBride is being booked into the Saline County Jail in reference Burglary and Felony Theft.

The stolen trailer was recovered early this morning in Ada, Kansas.

Salina law enforcement is investigating a residential burglary that was being remodeled.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday, June 14 at 4:30 pm, officers responded to a residence in central Salina for the report of a burglary.

Reportedly, a male was remodeling the residence on Friday, June 12 and came back on Sunday, where he noticed the home was entered.

Numerous work tools that included two DeWalt tables saws and nailers, along with a compressor were stolen.

Moreover, a white 2020 Haulmark trailer (enclosed) bearing KS tag: 176NCG, was stolen as well. The trailer contained several work tools as well.

The estimated loss was valued at about $35,000
