Nathan P. Thompson, 44, Salina, was born November 21, 1977, in St. Joseph, MO, and was found July 19, 2022, near Ellsworth, due to homicide.

Nathan was raised in Glasco and moved with his family to Minneapolis in 1994 where he attended Minneapolis High School. He enjoyed cooking, music, and although he struggled with mental illness, Nathan found solace when walking in nature and expressing his feelings through his poetry.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Davies Thompson and his grandparents.

Nathan is survived by his son, Zephyr LeDuc; father and stepmother, Robert and Sara (Coatney) Thompson; sisters, Thea Wilson and her husband, Brad and Angela Thompson; stepsiblings, Amanda Seyfert and her husband, Casey and Jesse Rupp; half-brothers, Nick and Sean Sewell and Chris Henson; aunts and uncles, Debbie Doyle, Becky Davies and Sharon, Gina and Tony Overton, Cindy and John Locke, Scott and Beth Davies, Pat and John Jacobs, Beth and Mikkel Stensaas, Judy St. Clair, Matt and Cathy Dillon, Paul and Chuck Walters, Ted and Corrine Schur, Lance and Barbara Echo-Hawk, and Howard and Kelli Coatney; and numerous cousins and friends. 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 29 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glasco with burial following in the Glasco Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Crossroads Day Program at the Central Kansas Mental Health Center (make checks payable to CKMHC, Crossroads) or your local food bank and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O.
