Regina Kay Steinle-Hendrickson, affectionately known as Gina, passed away on October 2, 2024, in her hometown of Salina, Kansas. Born on January 23, 1953, in Salina, Regina lived a life filled with love, creativity, and a deep commitment to her family and friends.
A passionate Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Regina found joy in making greeting cards and sharing her talents with those around her. She had a penchant for country music, which often filled her car with melodies that resonated with her vibrant spirit. Regina loved to indulge in her favorite dishes at Hong Kong Buffet, and she could always be found cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs.
Regina was a devoted mother to her son, Shawn Steinle, and cherished her role as a loving figure to her adopted grandchildren, Elena, Jimmena, Ninel, and Vizente` Garcia. She is survived by her siblings, Clair Steinle, Wil Steinle, Keith Steinle, and Karen Humphries, who will carry fond memories of her sassy, stubborn, and sarcastic yet incredibly kind and caring nature.
Regina was actively involved in her community, contributing her time and efforts to organizations such as Circles of the Heartland and the United Way. Her love for family and friends was unwavering, and she found true happiness in their company, as well as in her favorite television shows, including "Young and the Restless," "Bold and the Beautiful," "Survivor," and "America's Got Talent."
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., Friday, October 25th, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 901 East Neal Ave. A Celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 26th at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Memorials can be made to the family, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th Street, Salina, KS 67401, to help cover funeral expenses. Regina's legacy of love, creativity, and community involvement will be remembered by all whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
