UPDATE 12:20 p.m. Thursday: The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has once again adjusted the closing of S. Simpson Road between E. Magnolia Road and E. Crawford Street. The department issued the following statement earlier today.
The contractor on the Simpson Road Project has elected to begin work tomorrow May 6. Simpson Road between Magnolia Road and Crawford Street will now be closed to traffic starting Friday May 6 for a road improvement project. Simpson Road will not be accessible from either Magnolia Road nor Cloud Street during the project. Emergency and local traffic will be allowed access to properties who’s access is on Simpson Road between Magnolia Road and Crawford Street from the Crawford Street intersection only. Through traffic is asked to find alternate routes.

Simpson Road will not be accessible from either Magnolia Road nor Cloud Street during the project. Through traffic is asked to find alternate routes.

S. Simpson Road will not be accessible from either E. Magnolia Road or E. Cloud Street during the project.
