K-State Basketball Conference Season Promotions Announced

MANHATTAN, Kan. – As the basketball season heats up, K-State Athletics has announced the full slate of single-game ticket packages and theme days going into the start of Big 12 Conference play for both men’s and women’s basketball.Tickets can be purchased through the Athletics Ticket Office by calling (800) 221.CATS (2287), by visiting kstatesports.com/ticketsand in-person at the main southwest Bramlage Coliseum ticket office.Group ticket packages are also available by calling (785) 532-6374, emailing [email protected], or filling out the interest form linked here.See a complete list of promotions at www.kstatesports.com/promotions. 

  1. Sunday, December 22 – Women's Basketball vs. Cincinnati:
  2. $2 Day: Bring your friends and family as the nationally-ranked Wildcats open Big 12 Conference play. General admission tickets ordered online in advance of gameday are just $2 each, and select concessions items will be available for $2, while supplies last.
  1. Monday, December 30 – Men's Basketball vs. Cincinnati:
  2. Star Wars Night: Experience the magic of Star Wars Night at Bramlage Coliseum as your K-State Wildcats take on Cincinnati in the Big 12 opener. Bring the entire family out during the holiday break, where the force will be strong featuring a pregame Star Wars experience with character appearances, Jedi Willie photobooth, and chance to destroy the death star.   3. Junior Wildcats Club Day: Members of K-State's official kids club receive a special ticket offer for this game, and the first 250 Junior Wildcats Club members to check in will receive a mini light saber.

  2. Tacos & Tequila Event: Join us for a pre-game fiesta! Each $50 package includes a K-State mason jar glass, a game ticket, and access to a pre-game taco and tequila tasting in the West Stadium Center Steve & Kay Theede Club level of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.   3. Scout Night: Welcome all scouts! Anyone involved with Girl Scouts of America or Boy Scouts of America are invited to attend. Scout tickets are just $15 and include a Powercat patch and a $10 food voucher. Guests of the scout can purchase tickets for $12 and have the opportunity to purchase a food voucher.   2. Play 4 Kay Pink Game: The Wildcats continue the fight against cancer with the annual WBCA Kay Yow cancer awareness game. Be one of the first 3,000 fans in attendance toreceive a freeexclusive pink K-State shirt, courtesy of Ascension Via Christi.

  2. Wear Lavender: Wear your throwback lavender attire to the game as we pay homage to the legendary lavender uniforms made famous by the Wildcats in the 1970s and 80s.

  2. National Girls and Women in Sports Day:  Join the Wildcats in the annual day of observance to acknowledge the accomplishments of female athletes and honor the progress for equality for women in sports. Be one of the first 3,000 fans in attendance toreceive a hand fan courtesy of the Furniture Mall.
  3. Pregame Girls Sports Clinic: K-State Athletics will host our seventh-annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day pre-game clinic from 1:00PM to 3:00PM for girls in first through eighth grade. Hosted by K-State female student-athletes, the clinic features stations highlighting multiple sports. All participants will receive free admission to the game plus a K-State fitness towel.   4. National Halftime Act - Orissa Kelly: All the way from Watford, England, see one of the world’s only foot archery performers.

  4. National Halftime Act - Spyros Bros: The Season 15 semifinalists of America's Got Talent, these brothers combine the arts of juggling, dancing, danger, and acrobatics.

  2. 90s Retro Day: We are turning back the clock in this 1990s takeover. Enjoy a walk down memory lane with 90s-themed music and in-game promotions. The first 1,500 students will receive a limited-edition K-State rope hat.
  1. Saturday, March 8 – Men's Basketball vs. Iowa State:
  2. Senior Day: Salute K-State's senior class in a special presentation on game day.
  3. Baby Race: Does your baby have what it takes? Enter your child in the annual Diaper Derby at halftime. Baby must be able to crawl but not walk. Parents must have tickets to the game, no complimentary tickets provided. Nominations are currently being accepted as space is limited. Nominations close on Friday, February 14.
