ELLSWORTH COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Wednesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by Johnnie R. Miller, Jr., 55, Ellsworth, attempted to pass a John Deere Tractor driven by Wyatt S. Ploutz, 22, Ellsworth in the 1700 block of Avenue L.
Miller overcorrected and turned into the ditch. The Dodge Dakota rolled one time and came to rest in the south ditch.
EMS transported Miller to Salina Regional Health Center. Ploutz was not injured. Miller was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
