Two small quakes rattle SE Saline County Tuesday morning

GYPSUM - Two more minor quakes rattled part of southeastern Saline County early this morning.

A 2.0 magnitude earthquake struck southwest of Gypsum at 3:27 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. The quake was centered between S. Niles Road and S. Cunningham Road on the east and west and E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road on the south and north.

A second 2.0 quake struck at 5:50 a.m Tuesday. It was centered southwest of the S. Niles Road/E. Lapsley Road intersection.
