The Sacred Heart Knights (2-6) have a great opportunity to pick up some momentum this week when they travel to Whitewater-Remington (3-5) for a battle with the Broncos.

The Knights got off to a dismal start in 2020, dropping their first four games during a stretch where they were outscored 179-6.

Sacred Heart rebounded well with back-to-back wins against Ellinwood and Wichita Independent, but lost their final two games of the year to finish 2-6.

As the playoffs begin this week, the Knights will have an opportunity to right the ship against another struggling team in the Broncos.

Remington won the final game of their season against Elkhart, but was very inconsistent throughout the year.

They started their 2020 campaign with back-to-back losses at the hands of Douglass and Conway springs before picking up their first win against Wichita Independent.

The Broncos bookended their second win over Stanton County with losses against Christ Prep Academy and Sedgewick before dropping a game to Inman and defeating Elkhart.

If Remington can defeat the Knights, they could be in for a rematch with Inman (6-2) as the winner here will play the winner between the Teutons and Stanton County Trojans (0-7)
