MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported six new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 160.
Following is the information about the newest cases, as provided by the health department.
Case identified Saturday
Positive case No. 155 is symptomatic male in his 30s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Cases identified Sunday
Positive case No. 156 is a symptomatic child under the age of 5 with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 157 is a symptomatic male in his 60s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 158 is a symptomatic female in her 20s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.
Positive case No. 159 is a symptomatic male in his 20s with known exposure and is recovering at home.
Case identified Monday
Positive case No. 160 is a symptomatic male in his 20s with known exposure and is recovering at home.
Of the 160 cases, 142 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines, the health department reported. Currently, none of the active cases is hospitalized. The county has had one COVID-19 related death.
