Part of S. Cunningham Road is scheduled to be closed beginning Tuesday for drainage work.
The Saline County Road and Bridge Department announced Monday afternoon that it plans to close S. Cunningham Road between E. McReynolds Road and Mentor Road to through traffic beginning Tuesday for the replacement of a cross-road drainage culvert.
The roadway is expected to reopen by the end of the day Friday, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies, according to information from the Road and Bridge Department.
