MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
Positive case No. 252 is a symptomatic female in her 30s with known exposure, the health department reported.
Additionally, the health department updated its COVID-19 case data to include the following.
• Asymptomatic cases: 26
• Cases with unknown exposure: 100
• Cases 60 years old and above: 61
• Cases 50-59 years old: 28
• Cases 40-49 years old: 32
• Cases 30-39 years old: 32
• Cases 18-29 years old: 74
• Cases under 18 years old: 25
• Female cases: 137
• Male cases: 115
• Hospitalized cases (may not represent current hospitalizations): 19
• Ventilated cases (may not represent current ventilated cases): 4
• Deaths: 1
The health department noted that 232 of the 252 confirmed cases have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines and two of the active cases are hospitalized.
