SALINE COUNTY –One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. Friday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Freightliner trctor-trailer driven by Wasihun Bekele Adamu, 37, Dallas, Texas, was northbound on Intestate 135 exiting to westbound Interstate 70.

The driver was unable to negotiate the off ramp curve due to excessive speed. The truck overturned and come to rest on the grass embankment.

EMS transported Adamu to Salina Regional Health Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
