Robert Dean Williams, born on November 10, 1941, in Dunlap, Kansas, passed away on May 30, 2024, in Salina, Kansas, after a courageous battle with leukemia.

He was the beloved son of C. Orville Williams and Ruth Williams. Robert's life was one filled with love, warmth, and dedication to his family and community.

He was a loving husband to Janice Carol Williams, whom he married on May 20, 1967, in Council Grove, Kansas. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories.

Robert's educational journey saw him graduate from high school in his hometown of Dunlap, Kansas. He then went on to serve his country in the Army National Guard, showcasing his dedication to his nation and fellow countrymen.

In his professional life, Robert was a hardworking individual with a strong work ethic. He was known as a skilled landscaper and lawn mower, excelling in his craft. His attention to detail was evident in his work, especially when he cleaned and striped parking lots. Not only was Robert dedicated to his work, but he also served as the Mayor of Dunlap, Kansas, demonstrating his commitment to his community.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Robert had a passion for woodworking and gardening. These hobbies brought him great joy and allowed him to express his creativity and love for nature. His woodworking projects and flourishing garden were testaments to his skill and dedication to his interests.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Carol Williams, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished. He is survived by his loving sons, Christopher Williams (Mary) and Carl Mitchell, two brothers, David Williams and Richard Williams; and one sister, Pat Williams, who will carry on his memory with pride and love.

A private funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Robert's life, reflecting the intimacy and depth of his relationships with those closest to him.
