Police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle from a south Salina parking lot Monday afternoon.
Edward Perez, 50, of Salina, told police that his 2008 Suzuki GSX-R600 K6 motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot of the apartment complex at 815 E. Wayne Avenue sometime between 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
The motorcycle had a white body, black seat, and purple rims, and was valued at $2,800.
A witness reported seeing a white Chevrolet pickup in the vicinity, but it is unclear whether it was connected to the theft, Forrester said.
