Hot and humid conditions will continue through the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, heat indices of 100-105 degrees during the afternoon and early evening hours are expected Saturday and Sunday.
A stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out Saturday afternoon, but the better chance of thunderstorms comes late Sunday into Monday. The main threat with those thunderstorms looks to be very heavy rainfall, with some potential for flash flooding.
