ELLSWORTH COUNTY - Beginning Monday, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing about 15 miles of Kansas Highway 14 in Ellsworth County.
Work on K-14 will continue north from the Rice/Ellsworth County line to the south city limits of Ellsworth.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one 12-foot lane of traffic through the construction zone. Drivers should be prepared for a delay of up to 15 minutes and plan extra time in their travel schedules.
APAC-Kansas Inc. of Hutchinson is the prime contractor and has scheduled this $3.2 million project to be completed in July, weather permitting.
