
Kansas Wesleyan women's bowling reached the semifinals of bracket play at the NAIA Unaffiliated Group Championship on Saturday and Sunday at The Alley in Salina.
The Coyotes qualified in fifth after rolling 24 Baker games on Saturday to determine seeding in bracket play which was contested on Sunday.
KWU faced Morningside in the first round of the bracket, defeated the Mustangs 3-0 in the best of five series.
KWU then faced top-seeded Midland, who knocked off the Coyotes in four games, after KWU had won the first game.
Midland would go on to face Ottawa in the finals.
KWU will next participate in the Jayhawk Classic this weekend in Lawrence.
