KANSAS - Laura Gieseler of No. 10 Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Isabella Galvan of (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University have earned this week's KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Sept. 22-28 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

In goal for the Coyotes, Galvan recorded two shutout wins over York and Evangel. She tallied four saves to preserve the clean sheet against York, and six against Evangel for another clean sheet. This marks the second time this season Galvan has been named the KCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
