WICHITA, Kan. - Tyler Favretto of (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University has earned the KCAC Baseball Player of the Week honor, the conference office announced Wednesday. Student-athletes for the KCAC Player of the Week program are selected for their performances from April 8-14 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Favretto had a great week for the Coyotes helping KWU to a 5-1 week. His best three games came against No. 23 ranked Tabor as he went 8-for-9 in the series and drove in eight runs, while hitting five homers in the three-game stretch. On the week, he was on base at a .737 clip for the conference games, only striking out one time. This marks the second time this season Favretto has been named the KCAC Baseball Player of the Week.
