Phyllis Marie Franklin, 87, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 11th, 2022.
Phyllis was born in Sioux City, Iowa on March 22, 1934, a daughter of Wilma Lucille (Wilson) and John Haaga.
Prior to becoming an administrator in various local homes, she worked as an accountant.
She was a supporter of the local civic organizations of Salina.
On December 22, 1961, Lewis Franklin married Phyllis in Salina.
Survivors include two sons, Kirk A. Waymire (Mary) of Alta Vista, Kansas, Jerry Franklin (Marsha) of Salina, Kansas; two daughters, Terri Lynn Mattison (Dale) of Salina, Kansas, Diana Sue Wood (Larry) of Riverside, California; 12 grandchildren, 17 gr-grandchildren; and brother John J. (Rose) Haaga of Salina, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Wilma Haaga; husband Lewis Franklin; daughter Janita Jo Franklin-Curley; grandson SSG Kirk A. Waymire, Jr.; and sister Carol Bridgwater.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 18th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19th at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salina.
