Salina Family YMCA
The Salina Family YMCA is calling all young athletes to step up and put in the work.
On August 8–9, the Y will host its Youth Performance Training Camp (YPTC)—a high-impact, two-day experience for youth ages 5–19 who are ready to build a stronger foundation in sport, strength, and self-confidence.
This camp is designed to challenge, inspire, and equip young people to push beyond their limits and rise to the next level—whether they’re new to athletics or looking to refine their edge.
“The YPTC gives us an opportunity to better prepare Salina's athletes for the sport they are participating in,” said the YMCA Sports Director. “This camp focuses on the development of Speed Mechanics, Body Weight Explosiveness and Fundamental Strength Training. The vision is to give Salina's youth the confidence to perform while also introducing foundational aspects of health and wellness.”
With a focus on movement, mindset and motivation, participants will train with intention and leave with the confidence to perform—on the field, in the gym and in life. It’s not just about playing better. It’s about becoming better.
Times vary by age group – visit https://www.salinaymca.org/sports/sports-camps for details.
Space is limited, and commitment starts with registration.
