Gaylon Lee Plenert, 69, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home.&nbsp;

Gaylon was born on September 29, 1954, in Goessel, KS, the son of Charles Lee and Jenny Lee (Unruh) Plenert.&nbsp; He attended school in Hillsboro, KS.

He was a member of Wheatland Baptist Church, McPherson and was an artist for The Clayworks at Disability Supports.

Survivors include: his mother, Jenny Plenert of McPherson, KS; a brother, Greg (Robin) Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; nephew, Dusten (Danielle) Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; niece, Callie Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles; and dear friend, Nancy (Gene) Shockley of Wichita, KS.

Gaylon will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Wheatland Baptist Church, McPherson, with Pastor Brian Ernsberger officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Hillsboro.
