Ruth passed away on August 26, 2021.
Ruth Vivian Halloran, age 98, passed away on August 26, 2021, at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, Kansas. Ruth was born on March 10, 1923 to Otho and Goldie Millias.
Ruth married William Paul Halloran in 1941. They had two children, Allen and Jeneane.
Ruth lived a long, happy life and enjoyed many different interests. She managed senior housing apartments in several different states before retiring. She was a member of Eastern Star since the 1970s, a member of the Covenant Church in Courtland, Kansas, and also participated in the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always knitting sweaters and blankets. She loved doing puzzles, playing cards, and collecting owls. She was a very generous and loving woman who enjoyed not only her family but friends as well.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, son Allen, her parents, five brothers, two sisters, one grandson, and one granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter Jeneane Reid, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services celebrating Ruth’s life will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at the Covenant Church in Courtland, Kansas. Visitation and reception with the family will follow the services, at the church.
Graveside services will be held the following week at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, New York. Details to be announced.
