Salina Presbyterian Manor issues call for entries for Art is Ageless®

Salina Presbyterian Manor is now accepting entries for the 2022 Art is Ageless® juried exhibition.

Open to artists age 65 and older, the annual exhibition is scheduled for March 8-10. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition is scheduled in Homewood Suites by Hilton, 115 E. Mulberry.

Area artists who are age 65 or older may submit entries for the exhibition and/or the competition for an opportunity to be featured in the 2023 Art is Ageless® calendar, according to information from Salina Presbyterian Manor.

Artwork being entered in the competition must have been completed after the artist turned 65. Additionally, the artwork must have been completed within the past five years.

Artwork will be accepted from both amteur and professional artists. There are nine entry categories from which to choose, including the following.

Christmas

Drawing

Fiber Arts

Painting

Sculpture/3-D

Photography

Mixed Media/Crafts

Quilting (machine-stitched or hand-stitched)

Needlework

Entries must be dropped off at Salina Presbyterian Manor, 2600 E. Crawford, by 5 p.m. Feb. 18. Contact Boos at 785-825-1366 to arrange a drop-off time.
