Lois M. Kepple, 95, Tescott, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Lois was born April 9, 1927, in Salina to Elmer and Elsie (Fischer) Nelson.
Lois and George W. Kepple were united in marriage on October 20, 1946.
She worked many jobs in her lifetime, but she will be most remembered for her years of driving the school bus for Tescott and Minneapolis. She was a member of the Tescott United Methodist Church and she was an avid quilter.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Ottawa County Health Center for their kind, loving, and compassionate care that was given to Lois these past few years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George; brother Wayne Nelson; and her sister Norma Reed.
Survivors are her daughters Linda Ryan, Janet Pasley and her husband, Ron, and Karen Stelter and her husband, Ron; sister Joyce Graham; seven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 20 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Tescott United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tescott United Methodist Church or the Ottawa County Health Center and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
