REPCO, one of Salina’s oldest manufacturers has announced that Salina will be home to its most recent expansion.
As a food ingredient company specializing in vitamin and mineral nutritional premix blends, innovative bakery ingredients and state-of-the-art dosing equipment, REPCO’s products enrich the lives of millions of people around the world daily.
Since 1946, REPCO’s customers have relied on its high-quality ingredients and exceptional customer experience to enhance their products' nutritional value. REPCO's products go into many of the foods that are consumed each day in this country and abroad, including but not limited to, flour, bread, rice, corn, power bars, vitamin drinks, daily vitamin gummies, powdered drink mixes, energy drinks, and more.
An international leader in the food industry, REPCO is planning to unveil its most recent 50,000 square foot, $7 million office, laboratory, and warehouse expansion at 12:30 p.m. Monday at 1835 E. North Street. The groundbreaking ceremony will feature company representatives, local government leaders, designers, and the general contractor.
“REPCO has a storied history not only here in Salina but has made a global impact in the food industry,” said Monte White, REPCO president and CEO. “We are excited to celebrate our more than 75-year history and this expansion provides us the opportunity to grow the REPCO brand into the future.”
Headquartered in Salina, REPCO selected Salina for this expansion due to the quality of workforce availability, location, and availability of incentives.
Construction of the building is targeted for a late spring 2023 completion. The project is designed by SPT Architecture and Simpson Construction of Wichita, Kansas will serve as the general contractor for the project. The City of Salina, Salina Community Economic Development Organization, Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, and Kansas Department of Commerce all provided support to the project.
