Pickup stolen from northwest Salina neighborhood

Police are looking for a pickup that was stolen from a northwest Salina neighborhood early Thursday.

Thomas Wilcome, 50, of Salina, told police that sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Thursday, someone stole his 1990 GMC 1500 pickup that was parked on the street in the 100 block of North College Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. Wilcome had left the keys inside the vehicle, Forrester noted.

The pickup, valued at $3,500, is described as being maroon in color with silver bed rails and silver running boards. It had a Kansas license plate of 366 MNV.
