Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in central Salina Tuesday.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that Maria Montoya-Rodriguez, 48, of Salina, was eastbound on E. Crawford Street at noon Tuesday when she attempted to turn left onto S. Fifth Street and turned her 2018 Jeep Cherokee in front of a westbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Torenzo Poole, 31, of Salina.
Both drivers received arm injuries from airbag deployment, but were not transported to the hospital, he said.
Both vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage and were towed from the scene.
Montoya-Rodriguez was cited for failure to yield the right of way and not having a driver's license.
