UPDATE: Male suspect arrested after running away from Sheriff deputies

Salina Police have apprehended a male suspect who ran away from Saline County Sheriff deputies, after an attempted arrest at CKF Addiction Treatment.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Thursday, June 26th at around 5:00 pm, SPD received a call that reported 36-year old Levi Sanderson was in the area of the 1200 block of E. Cloud.

Officers then arrived to the scene and located Sanderson walking in the area. Afterwards, officers approached and arrested him without incident. Sanderson was booked into the Saline County Jail and is facing the following requested charges:

Aggravated escape from custody, Held for Felony, Possession drug paraphernalia, Possession of opiate, narcotic, or certain stimulant.

Sanderson was a suspect that was in connection to running away from Saline County Sheriff deputies, when he was a 'court ordered patient' at the CKF Addiction Treatment facility.
