Salina Post
The splash pad at Jerry Ivey Memorial Park has reopened and is now available for public use, according to Salina Parks and Recreation.
It was temporarily closed due to excessive dirt and mud tracking onto the splash pad quickly upon opening, which clogged the filtration system and impacted water quality.
To help keep the splash pad operating safely and prevent future closures, Salina Parks and Rec is asking all visitors to do their part by keeping dirt and mud out of the splash pad area as much as possible.
Your cooperation helps maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable space for everyone.
