The wind continues to blow in the heart of Kansas.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a wind advisory in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.

South winds at 25 to 30 mph, with gusts around 45 mph, are forecast.

NOTE FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
