Kansas Wesleyan's Lexi Jack has been named as the KCAC Women's Soccer Defender of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday. Student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 19-25 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.
Jack had a great week anchoring the Coyote back line from the center back position. In two shutout victories for the Coyotes last week, 5-0 over Bethany and 4-0 over Southwestern, Jack was part of KWU's defense that held opponents not only without a goal, but also to only six total shots in two matches.
She also made contributions on the offensive side for the Coyotes, handing out three assists in the two matches on the week. She had one assist in KWU's win over Bethany and had two in KWU's defeat of Southwestern.
