Kimberly Kay Stanley 64, Beverly passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. Kimberly was born June 15, 1957, to Kenneth Shirey Sr. and Deloris Scott.
Kim enjoyed semi rides with her husband, fishing, and camping, helping with the Big Kids car club, and hot rods. She was a Girl Scout leader for her daughters and she loved watching children and spending time with her grandchildren.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Survivors are her husband Russell of the home; children Angela and Charles Finkbiner of Delphos, Jennifer and Josh Kirk of Delphos, son Jeramiah and Desiree Stanley of Minneapolis, Lindsey Stanley of Salina; and a stepdaughter, Jerrisue Carleton of Winfield; grandchildren Dominick, LeeAnn, Austin Chantel, Logan, Ashley, Chelsie, Casey, Conner, Anna, Cody, Levi, Lexy, Letty, Shyann, Brenton, Tayton, Garson, Braydon, Mystery, Kaysyn, Fred, and Kypra; great-grandchildren Wesley Paul, Carson, Boe, Briley, Amadeus, BellaRose, Cadence, Kailyn, Brooklyn, Shyanne, Baylee, Emmaleyha, Cynthia, and Nathan; brother-in-law William (Ed) and Christel and sister-in-law Joyce; her siblings Kenneth Shirey Jr. and Michelle Strawsinger; tons of nieces and nephews; a lot of other family and friends; and her beloved dog Charlie Dog.
At Kimberly’s request, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2 at Wilson Family Funeral Home in Minneapolis. A gathering and luncheon, provided by family and friends will be held at the Golden Wheel Senior Center following the service.
