Larry L. Denney April 22, 1935 ~ March 25, 2024

Larry L. Denney, 88, Tescott, died Monday, March 25, 2024, in Minneapolis. Larry was born April 22, 1935, in Mount Hope, KS to Cecil and Gladys (McBride) Denney.

After graduating from high school, Larry enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 22 years. Upon returning home, he worked at K-Mart in Salina for numerous years.

Larry and Jo Ann Cochrun were united in marriage on August 14, 1954, and made their home near Tescott.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Denney; and sister, Norma Wilson.

Survivors are his wife, JoAnn Denney; children, Rhonda Bird (Rob), Laurie Presnell (Karl Kissick), and Steve Denney (Marci); sister, Betty Wood; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with full military honors will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 30 at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
