Scott David Christensen, 61, of Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Audubon, Iowa, Scott was the son of Carole Trumbo and Jerry Christensen. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years, demonstrating the strength and dedication that would define his life.
On March 23, 1996, Scott married the love of his life, Dawn Christensen. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Scott worked as a machine operator at Russell Stover from 2013 until 2025. Outside of work, he found joy in flying RC planes, woodworking, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family, dogs, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; daughter, Ashley Bennett (Aaron); son, Robert Hartranft (Alishia); sister, Pam Christensen (Mary Jo Parker); and grandchildren Jack, James, Olivia, and Leona.Scott was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 8th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
