Mary "Peg" M. Condray

Mary M. “Peg” Condray, 77, Minneapolis, died Friday, January 19, 2024. Peg was born August 31, 1946, in Sterling, KS to Louis and Jane (McKissick) Wilkey.
She was a 1964 graduate of Sterling High School, and she earned a bachelor’s degree from Sterling College. Peg and Jettie Condray were united in marriage on November 11, 1972. She worked for years as the Ottawa County Extension Agent in Minneapolis. Peg was also a full-time farmer’s wife, 4-H leader, nursery school assistant for Mrs. Macy, hospice volunteer, board member for the Minneapolis Public Library, and a longtime member of the Hebron Reformed Presbyterian Church in Clay Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Sara Wilkey; husband, Jettie on February 19, 2020, and siblings, Hadley, Edgar, and John.
Survivors are her boys, Chuck (Angelia), Jes (Laurisa), Joel (Amanda), and Kelly (Cindy); and grandchildren, Justis, Lily, Knox, Kellen, Ally, Jake, Trevor, Tyler, Aaron, and Dusty.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 25 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. It was Peg’s wish to have private services for family only. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lamar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Minneapolis Public Library or the Hebron Reformed Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
