The Ross Dress For Less store has officially reopened at the Central Mall in Salina.

For those wanting to shop at Ross, the Mall is requesting shoppers to enter through the store's main entrance on the East side of the mall.

There is still no timeline when the inside of the Central Mall will reopen to the public.

The mall has been closed due to hailstorm damage back on April 27, 2026.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) completed a review of the recent lab testing results conducted at the mall. According to KDHE, no asbestos was detected in the collected samples, and the mall successfully met KDHE testing requirements.

Because no asbestos hazard was identified through the sampling process, tenants and businesses are proceeding with necessary cleaning and repair activities.

The following businesses are open to the public:

District Eat and Play remains open regular hours.

Driven Barbell and Training remains open regular hours.

Dunham's Sports remains open regular hours.

Salina Gymnastics Club remains open regular hours.

Taylor's Twirlers remains open regular hours.
