Woman having warrants in Saline Co. resists officers before arrest

A woman having outstanding warrants out of Saline County, allegedly resists officers before her arrest.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday, October 19 at around 8:00 am, officers in the 400 block of S. Santa Fe, noticed a woman around the area who had outstanding warrants in Saline County.

The woman walked towards the area of 12th Street and Morrison, where the officers were able to speak with her. 

Afterwards, officers attempted to arrest her, but she allegedly resisted. Officers eventually arrested 25-year old, Mariah Peterson.

Peterson was booked into the Saline County Jail for Interference with Law Enforcement and the warrants.
