One male was arrested after allegedly assaulting a female at a Salina motel.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Friday, October 17 at around 11:00 pm, officers were dispatched to Salina Inn on 636 Westport Blvd. regarding a woman who was allegedly assaulted.
Reportedly, a 45-year old female victim stated, Simon Brauwn, 45 punched her in the face and held a pillow over her, restricting breathing. SPD stated before this took place, the victim and Brauwn got into an argument.
Officers arrested Brauwn and booked him into the Saline County Jail for the requested charges of:
Aggravated Domestic Battery and Domestic Battery.
The victim did not need any medical treatment.
