SEWARD, Neb. - Kansas Wesleyan women's indoor track had several athletes pick up event wins and a few set new personal bests as the Coyotes competed in their final tuneup before next week's KCAC Championships on Friday at the Concordia Invitational.
Josie Koppes won the 1000m with a time of 3:06.78.
Kierra Jensen won the mile with a personal nest time of 5:27.29, Charlee Lind was fourth in 5:42.99, Micah Dickens recorded a new personal best with a 5:43.43, and Makayla Little was ninth in 6:03.38.
Lauryn Mikkelson was fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:31.39.
Brionna Floyd was seventh in the 600m with a time of 1:47.59 and Emma McAlister was ninth in 1:48.53.
Kierra Jensen was seventh in the 1000m, with a new personal best time of 3:17.60, Micah Dickens was 11th in 3:28.66 and Makayla Little was 15th in 3:34.41.
Lauryn Mikkelson was ninth in the 400m with a time of 63.71 seconds.
Markyla Shaw recorded a new personal best in the long jump with a mark of 4.76m, finishing 14th.
Chloe Grusing was 17th in the shot put with a mark of 10.96m and Aunisty McNeal was 22nd with a mark of 10.06m.
Chloe Grusing was 29th in the eight throw with a mark of 10.72m and Roselyn Torres was 30th with a mark of 10.55m.
