Kansas agencies collaborate to fight drug crimes

WABAUNSEE COUNTY —In collaboration with the Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office, the Saline County Sheriff's Office and Salina Police Department recently participated in a special operation that targeted major criminals, according to a social media report from the sheriff's office.

This operation occurred in Wabaunsee County over a three-day span and officers made multiple arrests.

In addition to the arrests, there were several cases where large amounts of narcotics were seized.

This operation is a great example where multiple agencies collaborated and worked together on a common goal and made area communities a safer place. Among the other agencies who participated are the Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office, Junction City Police Department, Grandview Plaza Police Department , Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office , Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, Newton Police Department, North Newton Police Department and the Wamego Police Department.
