UPDATE 10:30 a.m. Wednesday: The National Weather Service has updated the area affected by the storms.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will move north through parts of central and eastern Kansas this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

 Severe weather is not expected, but be aware of the potential for a few lightning strikes and brief, heavy rainfall.
