A Salina man was able to escape without injury after his vehicle went off the road and into high water early Tuesday morning.
Deangelo Turner, 22, of Salina, was westbound on East Water Well Road about four-tenths of a mile east of South Kipp Road at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday when he drove his 2005 Ford Escape into approximately eight inches of water that was across the road, lost control, and went into the north ditch, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning.
Although Turner was able to escape without injury, the vehicle was partially submerged in three to four feet of water, Soldan said.
