The City of Salina has announced a special meeting will convene following recent concerns about water quality.
According to the city, commissioners will meet for a special study session at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Room 107 of the City/County Building (300 W. Ash Street)
Issues of water quality are currently ongoing throughout parts of the city, especially the Dover Drive neighborhood in west Salina

This meeting is OPEN for the public to attend and it will be livestreamed on the City of Salina's YouTube page.

If people wish to speak, either during the public forum or when the Mayor requests public comment on an item, those attending via Zoom must raise their hand so that the meeting host can allow them to speak.
Those who attend in person will have the opportunity to speak at the podium. People can also send written comments or questions to City Commissioners by visiting the City of Salina's website here and using the "Email City Commission" icon on the home page.
In order for the commissioners to have an opportunity to review comments in advance of the meeting, please email your comments or questions by 5:00 p.m. the Sunday before the Monday meetings.
